Entry Qualification: This will generally be decided in discussion with the Head of Maths of the relevant school. As a general guideline, students hoping for a ‘C’ should have achieved a grade D or very close to this.
Career Implications: Students who are capable of gaining a Grade C should make every attempt to do so. Grade C in Maths is a prerequisite for a number of degree courses and essential entry into any teaching course.
